May 16, 4 PM: “Our World, Many Lenses” Art Project. The Illinois Humanities launched the Foreground Rural Initiative “Our World, Many Lenses” for Middle School students, 6th thru 8th graders, students entering the 6th grade next year, students that just graduated from the 8th grade, and homeschoolers.
Ø The art activities will emphasize self-expression, storytelling, embracing diverse perspectives through narrative drawing and painting, and culminating in an exhibition of student artwork.
Ø The classes are FREE and the art project will meet twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for three weeks. The first class will be May 16 at 4 PM. Please register your student no later than May 14, 2023.
