The Davie third grade teachers are beyond excited and incredibly thankful for the opportunity to put award winning novels in the hands of each of our students this year with the support of our administration and our district. We are eager to enhance our students reading, comprehension, and text analysis skills through novel studies this fall/spring and in years to come.
We could not think of a better way to build readers both in and outside of school! Like Dr. Seuss said, "The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you'll go." And we're going places in 3rd grade!
