Each year, the Illinois State Board of Education rates all schools across the state based on student performance and growth on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness, the Illinois Science Assessment, attendance, 5 Essentials Survey completion, and many other factors. This year, Lincoln and Davie schools both received the second highest rating given – Commendable. Based upon their ratings, they scored approximately 75% higher than other schools in the state! Anna Jr. High received the highest rating given – Exemplary. This means they scored in the top 10% of all schools in the state! Thank you to all our students and staff for their hard work and dedication. No matter their role, everyone plays a part in the success of our schools. Let's keep up the great work, and do even better in the coming year.
To celebrate this achievement, Mr. Boren cooked up pulled pork sandwiches and the cafeteria staff provided the sides for staff and students to celebration at lunch.
