There has been a slight change to the Girls Basketball Game. The game against Century that was set for Tuesday is now set for today Monday October 24. This was a scheduling error. Once again the girls basketball is now set for today Monday October 24, it will be at Century. Sorry for the confusion.
Nick Sadler’s and Shawn Fleming’s bus will run 30 to 45 minutes from picking kids up in the morning and dropping them off in the afternoon. This is for Monday October 23.
There will be no school on Friday, 10/28/22, for the Regional Office of Education Teacher’s Institute, and school will dismiss early on Monday, 10/31/22, for school improvement planning. Dismissal times are: K-2 - 11:20, 3-6 - 11:25, 7-8 - 11:30.

Anna CCSD #37 is requesting bids for the provision and installation of 3M Scotchshield Ultra Safety Window Film and chain-link fence wrap, or similar product, with custom graphics. A pre-bid meeting will be held on October 31 at 2:00 p.m., which will allow contractors to take measurements. Bids must be received at Anna CCSD #37, 301 South Green Street, Anna, IL 62906 prior to 12:00 p.m. on November 14, 2022. The district desires to have all work completed as soon as possible. Further information can be obtained by calling 618-833-6812. Anna CCSD #37 reserves the right to wave minor informalities and accept the bid which best suits the district needs. Services provided will be performed by employees receiving prevailing wage.

Anna CCSD #37 is looking for someone to transport a student to and from Murphysboro each day. This person will be driving the school van, but must be willing to get a CDL passenger license. Current salary is $11,281/yr (likely to increase within the year). The successful candidate will also receive a $1,000 sign on bonus and work only 4 hours each day of the school year. Report cards will be sent home with students on Friday, October 21st. Parent teacher conference notes will be sent home with students this week as well. Conferences will be held on Thursday evening, October 27th, and Tuesday evening, November 1st, from 3:30 - 7:00 PM. We look forward to meeting and working with parents and caretakers at this time.

Little Indian practice will be this Saturday in the Junior High lower gym.
2nd & 3rd - 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
4th & 5th 10:45 - 11:45 a.m.
Wear Shoes, shorts and a t-shirt and if your child wants, they may bring a water bottle. We will have plenty of basketballs to share.
Our girls cross country team placed third in our regional! They will be advancing to state.
