Due to the predicted weather event Anna 37 will be dismissing early at 2:15pm tommorow February 18, 2025. All after school activities are canceled. There is a small chance of snow overnight we will be checking roads early tommorow to ensure bus safety .
This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, February 17th, in honor of President’s Day. Thank you and enjoy the long weekend.
District 37 parents and guardians. The new security measures at Davie and the Jr. High are going well. We want to thank students and parents for their patience and cooperation in this. A few things we have noticed that would make the process a little more efficient are: (1) please have lunch boxes out of backpack, (2) have pockets empty and backpack off before you get to the metal detector, (3) leave unnecessary items at home, (4) only clear water bottles are allowed. It is unfortunate that we feel we have to do these things, but we are very proud of how our students have adapted so quickly to this, and ultimately just want to keep everyone safe. Again, thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and entrusting us to work with your children.
The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls basketball practice has been cancelled for tonight Tuesday, February 11.

This is a reminder that school will dismiss early on Friday, February 14th, for school improvement meetings. Dismissal times are as follows: kindergarten - second grade 11:20, third - sixth grade 11:25, seventh and eighth grade 11:30.

3rd - 8th grade parents and guardians. Our new security measures went into effect today. All in all, things went well, but we will be making some minor adjustments tomorrow. Most importantly, we have adjusted the placement of metal detectors to allow students to wait inside the building. With potential rain tomorrow, we wanted parents to know that students will not have to wait outside. Thank you for your patience and understanding. As we work through the process we will keep you updated of changes.

Good afternoon after seeing our total number of student and staff out sick and after speaking with health officials Anna 37 will be out of session for 48 hours we do plan on returning to school on Friday January 31, 2025. I pray that all my sick students and staff start feeling better soon.
Good afternoon. Due to the high number of students out due to illness and the number of students having to be sent home due to illness, we will not be in session tomorrow, January 29, 2025, while we disinfect the school and try to get past this outbreak. The regional boys' basketball game will still be played at Goreville, and all other activities will be canceled.
