District 37 parents and guardians. This message is to inform you of next week’s Christmas activities. Our music programs will be held on the following dates and times: 1st and 2nd grade - December 17th at 6:00 PM, 3rd and 4th grade - December 17th at 7:00 PM, Kindergarten - December 19th at 6:00 PM, and Jr. High band and chorus - December 19th at 7:00 PM. All programs will be held in the Jr.High lower gymnasium. More information will be sent home with students. Also, school will dismiss at 2:15 on December 20th, and there will be no school December 23rd through January 3rd. School will resume on January 6th. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Today's Lunch menu included Bison Chilli made with meat from Bison Bluff Farms in Cobden. I want to thank them for working with us to provide this experience to our students. Also, students once again got the opportunity to have fresh apples from Flamm Orchard. And a shout out to my cooking staff for supporting these activities and for making lunch a little more memorable.

Thanks to the farm-to-school grant, we are again enjoying apples from Flamm Orchards and trying a new adventure by working with Bison Bluff Farms in Cobden. We are purchasing Bison meat to make Bison Chili on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.


Attention parents and Guardians, picture retakes will be on December 5 for Lincoln, Davie, and Jr High School.

The swings have been a big hit. I've already been told we need more; unfortunately, I'm out of space.


Finally, there are swings at Davie! Thanks to Mr. Sadler and Mr. Ralls for installing them and testing them out. I'm looking forward to seeing our kids enjoy them.

Good Morning, Parents and Guardians. I want to take a second to inform you all that our Bus 10 was involved in an accident with another vehicle this morning at Lincoln School. The Administration and our school Nurse checked on all students, and there were no injuries. Again, all of our students are safe and in class this morning. Thank you

Fourth grade has been learning about pumpkins and designing pumpkin chunkers in Science. In this project, students build a catapult to see how energy can change forms. When they stretch the rubber band, they create stored energy (potential energy). Releasing the catapult converts this stored energy into moving energy (kinetic energy), launching the object. This hands-on activity helps students understand how energy works and how it can be transformed from one type to another.
