The baseball game for today Monday, August 14, has been cancelled. There will be practice today at the ball field in the out field. The softball game is still on for today Monday, August 14, 2023. I will keep you informed if anything changes for softball.
Welcome back students and parents. We look forward to welcoming everyone at our back to school nights this week. Davie will be Tuesday night, with 4th grade arriving at 5:30 pm, and 3rd grade at 6:00 pm. Please enter through the lower cafeteria entrance. The Jr. High will be on Wednesday night from 5:30-6:30 pm. Please enter through the main student entrance (door 4). Lincoln will be on Thursday night from 5:00-7:00 pm. Please enter through the main entrance on Hendra street. If you would like to see who your child’s homeroom teacher is, you may view this on Teacher Ease beginning tomorrow morning, 8/15. This is a reminder that District 37 student registration will be held tomorrow and Thursday, from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Anna Jr High office. All students in Pre Kindergarten through 8th grade must be registered. This is for all students, even those who have completed the pre registration process online. Please bring two forms of proof of residency. To see what documents can be used, please check the residency documents form on the district website under the registration tab. Also, please be prepared to pay necessary fees if needed. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Softball tryouts will be this Monday and Tuesday, July 31, and August 1 from 8 am to 10 am at the Denny Field in the park. This tryout is for any girl from 6th to 8th grade.

Online student pre-registration is now open in Teacher Ease. Pre-registration must be completed by July 30th. You may complete pre-registration online by logging in to your Teacher Ease account. Medical information should be filled out by going to the registration page on the District 37 website. If you cannot complete it online, you may pick up a paper packet in your child’s school office by June 9th. Please call your child’s school office if you have questions. Thank you

This is a reminder that 8th grade graduation will be held in the lower gymnasium, on 5/18, at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. Students should arrive no later than 6:30 PM. Boys should go to Mr Eddings room. Girls should go to Mrs Goforth’s room. We look forward to seeing you all there.
This is a reminder that 5th-7th grade academic awards will be tomorrow, 5/16, in the lower gymnasium, at the following times: 7th grade - 8:30, 6th grade - 9:30, 5th grade - 10:30. The awards will be streamed on our YouTube channel as well. 8th grade awards will be included in the graduation ceremony.
This is a reminder that on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, we will have Athletic Awards for all students who participated in a sport at Anna Jr High. This includes Baseball, Softball, Girls and Boys Basketball, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade basketball, Cross Country, Cheerleading, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Cheerleading, Volleyball, Bowling, Golf, and Boys and Girls Track. It will start at 6:00 pm in the lower gym.
Attention all 7th and 8th parents and guardians. This is a reminder that all 7th and 8th grade students will be going to the park on Monday, May 15, 2023. The concession stand will be open at the park.
JDRF Kids Walk
As of now, we will be going to the Anna park tomorrow, May 12, to celebrate our fundraising efforts.
Please make sure your child dresses for being at the park most of the day.
Send a lunch, or your child can get a sack lunch from school.
Send extra water!! It will be hot!
Send sunscreen if you have it.
If we get rained out, we will do our celebration on Monday, May 15.
